Florence – Italy Part 5 of 7

Followed after Pisa, we managed to see two best sightseeing in Florence before next day to trek other city.

1) Michelangelo’s David sculpture as well as his extensive collection of 15th- and 16th-century paintings.

The history of David – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_(Michelangelo).

I find it quite amusing that some people think he makes an excellent garden gnome! –  http://vlsi.colorado.edu/~rbloem/david.html

2)  Piazzale Michelangelo – Great views over the river, plus you also get a copy of David sculpture. From here we got a great panorama of Florence, especially at sunset – a breathtaking view. We sat through a beautiful sunset. You can see the whole city and all its landmarks from this spot. Seen from my snapshot video below.

Apparently it was noted that there aren’t many similar views such as this one in the world!  I read the Guardian Eyewitness and saw this amazing capture picture below that is where we went!
